Senior Python Developer

My client is looking for a senior Python software developer to join their growing team. They are looking for a developer with a minimum 10 years’ experience designing and implementing database-backed software systems.

They provide a world-class Email Security Platform to their customers. As part of their team, you will be responsible for the development of systems and features that provide cutting edge security tools to their customer base.

The Role

  • Design and implementation of significant new security features
  • Data storage and communication designs for a distributed system
  • Designing and coding APIs and libraries for internal use

Required Skills/Experience:

  • Python expertise
  • Excellent understanding of concurrency and parallelism
  • Experience building scalable systems
  • Relational Database experience (MySQL, PostgreSQL etc…)
  • Linux experience

Additional desirable skills:

  • C++ experience considered a plus

Based in Dublin 18 (South Dublin). Salary negotiable, according to candidate. Permanent Role. This is a fully on-site role.
