Marketing Engineer

 

DESCRIPTION       

Experienced Marketing Engineer, Marketing Electronic HW, test equipment, instrumentation, communications Electronics and other Electronics systems. 

 

The candidate to responsible for development of key accounts.  Build relationships, understanding key market segments, responsible for strategic direction of specific products. 

 

Marketing engineer is responsible for commercial responsibility, specifically revenue & gross margin. Manage marketing for products including pricing strategy for products, promotion, planning, sales support, maintain revenue growth.

  

 

 RESPONSIBILITIES

 

PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT

Produce product roadmaps using customer and market feedback

Understand Market Specifics, understand future product requirement of target markets & identify product development opportunities for potential markets.

 

Business Knowledge

Knowledge of distribution process, product marketing issues.

Analyse competition and identify changes in strategy.

 Gross Margin targets product portfolio

New product sales targets

Sales reporting and analysis

Merchandising planning

 

 

Experience/Qualifications

Relevant Technical skills to

Ability to translate customer requirements into product requirements

Engineering degree or equivalent

4 years+ experience in related technical discipline.

 Marketing/business qualification, beneficial but not a absolute necessity

Some international travel

Excellent communication skills
