Role Overview
Systems Engineer
Reporting to Hardware Team Leader
Position and Responsibilities
Systems requirements;
Review Customer Requirements & translation into VVS Systems Requirements Spec
Develop VVS Systems Test Spec, traceability from systems test cases to systems requirements to ensure full test coverage of system interfaces
Manage requirements; Perform engineering assessment of subsequent internal & external Change Requests made to the project & translation of same into specific systems requirements & test case updates
Systems architecture design
Produce Systems Architecture Design documentation based on system requirements; working closely with the R&D PTMs to ensure all sub system interface are defined.
Produce Systems Integration Test Specification; for traceability from integration test cases to System Architecture requirements to ensure test coverage of all interfaces.
Produce and take ownership of System FMEA of project
Own System Validation Planning & Reporting in the project
Produce Systems Test Plan for each phase in line with agreed Systems Test Specification and Feature Phase document, including timing plan and identified resources
Produce Systems Integration Test Plan for each phase in line with agreed Systems Integration Test Specification and Feature by Phase document, including timing plan and identified resources
Manage full execution of Systems Test and Systems Integration Test plans of each phase, including monitoring and controlling progress and collation, evaluation and report systems test results,
Own system traceability from Requirements definition to Proof of delivery
Ensure systems work products are managed through VVS
Configuration Management & Change Control processes
Requirements
Honours Engineering degree
Systems engineering experience. 3+ years experience.
Other: Not Essential
ISO 15504 or Automotive SPICE training
Ability to work in a pressurized environment
Able to work part of a team
Previous multinational exp a bonus
This role is based in County Galway.
