Java Developer

Our client is looking for an experienced Java developer to join their development team.
Technical challenges are exciting and vast, whilst providing the candidate with excellent opportunity to increase and enhance their technical and their leadership skills.
The selected candidate will play a technical lead role on a team responsible for developing, designing and maintaining our clients systems which include both back end and front end applications.



Position Requirment
And Education:
The ideal candidate should have a recognized third level IT qualification and have at least 4 - 5 years software development experience as a senior Java developer.
Essential experience and skills:

• Java
• J2EE, XML, ANT XSL
• Oracle SQL
• Unix
• Unix Scripting
• IBM Websphere RAD
• Hibernate
• Excellent Design skills (Using Case, Sequence diagrams, Class diagrams etc)
• Capable of producing documented requirements, preparing and executing test plans, developing designs.
• Provide relevant Production Support for existing applications.
• Willing to travel, this position may require travel to the US from time to time.
• Initiative, hard work, good team skills,

The following would be a distinct advantage:

• Unix   ANT
• Autosys
• PVCS
• Rule Engine

Excellent communication skills are essential.
